If you have watched our channel when we modified the Big Bend, you will know, we got the base of the Big Bend trim level. There are really no options to this vehicle. We added a new front bumper, skid plate, winch, lights, a leveling kit, tires, wheels, and sasquatch flares. Just for fun, let’s do a break down of how much a 2 Door Big Bend Sasquatch, 4 Door Big Bend Sasquatch costs as compared to the Badlands Sasquatch and the DIY Sasquatch. BIG BEND: 2 DOOR: Approximately $7,300.00. 4 DOOR: Approximately $6,600.00. BADLANDS: Approximately $4,100.00. DIY: The total for just the wheels, tires (spare included) was about $3000, flares was around $340, and leveling kit was $150 with a total being approximately $3500.00. This option does not include any lockers or upgraded suspension and whatever else you need to make it a true Sasquatch. Now, with these figures in mind, and depending on YOUR personal preference, it gives you an idea of what may be the best fit for you. If you do not want to go off-roading because it isn’t your thing, but you love the look of a rugged off-roading vehicle, then I think the DIY would suit you best. You can get the looks (minus some options) and save some money at the same time. That’s a win-win. If you want the lockers but don’t want to DIY it, but rather have Ford do it for you, then you just need to decide what you want. The Badlands comes with both lockers and the sway bar disconnect. The 2 Door & 4 Door Big Bend Sasquatch do not come with a sway bar disconnect. Badlands is the ONLY one that comes with the sway bar disconnect. Not even the Wildtraks has it. If you are looking to do some serious off roading, you may want to look at our Bronco Off-Roadeo (the short version) video to see what we, ourselves, have learned. We hope you found this video informative. We hope this may have helped you in your decision making of what trim level is best for you and whether you want the DIY Sasquatch (and save some money) or if you want the factory Sasquatch and save yourself a lot of labor.
