Description
For model years 2011–2014 and most of 2015, GM included OEM provisions for a steering stabilizer, requiring two mounting points: one on the right side of the steering center link and one on the left side of the frame. All 2011+ models retain the center link mounting provision—a tapered hole near the idler arm. However, only 2011–2014 and select 2015 trucks came with the frame-side mounting clevis (two welded tabs on the crossmember). This OEM clevis interferes with the Cognito bracket and must be removed if present, as the included FOX stabilizer is not compatible with the factory mounting location.
- 2011-2015 model years require cutting off of the OEM frame clevis with tabs
- Compatible with lift kits that have the center link in the factory location
- Simple and completely bolt on installation for 2016+ model years
- Compatible with the Cognito Pitman and Idler Arm Support Kit
- Reduce feedback from the road through the steering wheel
- DIY Install Time: 20 min
