Description
In 2019 GM upsized the front driveline front u-joint to 1330 series in the 2500HD/3500HD trucks. This size carried on through 2023. In 2024 GM has upsized the joint again to what seems to be an industrial sized u-joint which is not typically used in automotive applications. Currently there is no weld yoke available for the proper size driveline tubing in order to build a custom driveline to be a direct fit, therefore the current solution is to change the yolk on the front differential to the 1330 series (that came OEM on the 2019-2023) so an available CV driveline can be installed. This driveline kit comes with the driveline and the 1330 series front differential yolk with 2 retaining clamps.
