Description
As much as we love the new 4th Gen Toyota Tacoma, our initial durability testing did reveal one weakness in the OE suspension. We discovered that the front upper shock mount and shock stem bushing may fail under hard use. So, we developed this Top Plate Reinforcement Kit to remedy this issue and prevent such damage. This kit supports and reinforces the factory upper shock mount. It will also capture and retain the shock stem bushing if a failure does occur. ICON recommends this upgrade on any 2024-2025 Tacoma that gets driven vigorously off-road using the OE front coilover shocks.
The ICON Top Plate Reinforcement Kit supports and reinforces the factory upper shock mount and will also capture and retain the shock stem bushing if a failure does occur.
APPLICATION NOTE #187: Only fits OE coilovers. Will not fit ICON or other aftermarket coilovers.
