In this video, I complete the two-part series on installing a Rough Country Winch in my 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands. I harvest the fairlead mounting plate from the Rough Country skid plate to use as a backer plate behind the factory skid plate. I cut a slot in the factory skid plate for the winch cable (synthetic rope), and mount the fairlead. I then unbundle the winch at get the power cables routed to the battery for connection. I re-install the factory skid plate, find a permanent home for the winch remote connection under the hood, and test the winch out a little. Finally, I take the Bronco up to the mine to retrieve the Blue Moose Trailer, using the winch to pull it up and out of its parking spot.
