Strong Construction With Helpful Design Strengthen your Jeep's Lower Control Arm Brackets by replacing the stock ones with these from Artec Industries. Artec Industries created these brackets not necessarily as a stock replacement but as brackets that can actually help improve the overall functionality. One example of this is the skid plate on the brackets. The Skid plate of bottom of bracket wraps around joint protecting it from direct impact and decreases premature wear on the joint which leads to longer life and less replacements. Skid plate design does not restrict movement of joint. These brackets are also made from high quality 1/4" thick boxed steel plate for strength and impact resistance. It also includes 2.625in mounting width fits common sized Cartridge Joints (Johnny, Flex, Ballistic, etc) and factory control arm bushings. Also as part of the design the bracket wraps around axle tube more than factory for additional weld surface area, which significantly reduces the chance the bracket can rip off. Easier Maintenance For Longer Use Along with the previously mentioned strong construction and innovative design, these brackets feature easier maintenance. This is due to the grease fitting access on top to allow easy maintenance of your most abused joint. It is important to note that with installation of these brackets, they require welding to the axle and removal of the factory bracket. Installation Note: If using factory control arms, you may need to grind off a small amount of the metal below the bushing to clear the skid plate on the bracket. This bracket requires welding to the axle and removal of the factory bracket.
