They provide a place for you and your passengers to kick your foot up comfortably. The pegs are hinged so you can close them when not in use and feature a padded stopper to reduce metal-on-metal contact. A rugged anti-slip pedal design keeps your foot in place, especially while bracing yourself on a rough trail.
