The hook can act as a shackle mount or conventional hook opening, and can be used with either a synthetic rope or steel cables up to 3/8" in diameter. Specifically, the hook was crafted using lightweight CNC machined 7000 Series military grade aluminum and is coated with a hard anodizing red finish to help it better endure the elements.
