Likewise, the unit utilizes a 5/8" hard chrome-plated and heat-treated alloy steel shaft that defies pitting and scratching to deliver consistent performance without compromise. The redundant seal packing system utilizes main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal to ensure this unit will remain protected from dust and moisture when you're out on the trails. Additionally, nitrile rubber allows for increases suspension articulation bushings. Installation is made easy as this unit installs as a direct replacement of your existing components without the need for further modifications.
