There is a hard jarring sensation that resonates all over the car and this does not just give the passengers discomfort and anxiety but it also forces the chassis and the suspension components to absorb a lot of stress loads that in the end can be highly destructive on the Jeep. Hydraulic BumpShocks form JKS Manufacturing usually diffuse the impact energy before it can cause damage or discomfort. It was developed for off road racing making it a professional grade secondary shock absorber increasing the damping resistance as the suspension reaches the maximum compression. What this means is that the BumpShock cushions heavy impacts that would have otherwise been transmitted directly to the vehicle and the passengers.
The Hydraulic BumpShocks have a 2 inch diameter SSID alloy steel body. It also has a hard chromed and mirror polished rod. On the inside, the large aluminum racing piston usually provide a self-adjusting, velocity sensitive valving that will automatically compensate for any changes on the terrain. The Hydraulic BumpShocks have been pre-charged with Nitrogen to the ideal amount to make it suitable for all jeep applications even though gas pressure can be manually adjusted to suit an individual's vehicle.
It has been designed to replace factory rubber bump stops and they are permanently welded on to the chassis so as to offer an ultra-secure connection. The competitors offer a smooth exterior surface while the Hydraulic BumpShocks feature a threaded body for positive no slip mounting. This threaded body allow for its position to be infinitely adjusted within the supplied mounting adapters.
