Description
You know the moment. The point where adding parts stops making sense and the factory frame becomes the limitation. The rear suspension wants to move, the axle wants to stay planted, and the stock rear section is what keeps everything compromised. This is where the line gets crossed. The factory rear frame comes off, and the build moves into a different category.
A bobbed bed Gladiator changes the rules. Bigger tires and heavier axles put loads into areas the factory rear frame and coil buckets were never meant to carry. Shock placement becomes a fight. Travel is limited. Fatigue shows up where it should not. This back half exists to remove that compromise entirely by replacing the rear frame section with structure that is meant to support real suspension.
With the factory rear section gone, the suspension loads into a fully boxed steel frame that does not flex or give under repeated abuse. Coilovers or ORI struts mount vertically above the axle, not angled into thin factory steel. The result is cleaner motion, more usable travel, and clearance that allows the suspension to work instead of negotiate. The rear of the truck stays calm when the terrain gets violent and consistent when the pace comes up.

Compatibility and Requirements
This kit replaces the factory rear frame section and requires cutting and welding. It is intended for experienced fabricators who understand structural work. At this stage of the build, the factory rear frame is no longer a viable foundation. Once installed, service access improves and future suspension changes are no longer constrained by stock geometry.
When the build moves beyond factory limits, this is not an add on. It is the point where the truck finally keeps up with the rest of the plan.
