Looking for rockers guards that will hold up to whatever you throw at them? The Motobilt Jeep JL 2 door 2018-Current frame mounted rocker guards provide the most protection to your Jeep JL 2 door body. Unlike other rocker guard protection that is bolted to the body and body mounts, these rock sliders are welded directly to the frame acting as a barrier between the jeep body and trail obstacles. When you contact a trail obstacle, the forces are transferred directly to the frame instead of the body of your vehicle. They are so tough you can use the rock rail as a jack point to lift your jeep up. 

The frame mounts are constructed of 3/16” thick laser cut steel plate CNC formed to add strength.  The frame mounts are essentially formed boxes that spread the load out on the frame as well as the tube attached to them.  The mounts provide 4 times the surface area at the frame versus tubing mounts and gussets some other manufacturers offer. On the tubing side of the frame mount the surface area is spread out to 3 times what tube to tube would offer. The Motobilt Frame Mounted Rockers are the ultimate in strength and durability. 

The tube slider portion of the JL frame mounted rocker guards is 2” DOM steel tubing.  The end caps and and center bracing are fabricated like the frame mounts from heavy duty 3/16” thick laser cut and formed steel plate.  The rockers are shipped completely welded. They are shipped bare steel.  Installing them will require welding and painting. If you opt to powder coat them test fit and know where you are going to put them to reduce chances of scratching them.  Once powder coated you will need to grind the powder off of the edges that weld to the frame.  After welding simply paint this area. We do not offer powder coating.

If you intend on taking your Jeep JL on any extreme trail, you will need extreme body protection and these rock rails are a must have for ultimate protection.

Long Arm Suspensions Must Read
