The Motobilt Tail Gate Accessory Mount is designed to replace your factory spare tire carrier on a Jeep tailgate to provide multiple mounting locations for bolt-on accessories.
Constructed from 1/8” thick high strength steel, this mount is CNC laser cut & CNC precision press brake formed. The shape of the mount adds extra strength, rigidity, ease of adding bolt-on parts, clears the hinges of the Jeep and gives you peace of mind knowing your accessories are securely positioned for even the toughest of off-road driving.
Our mounting bolt pattern fits the Factory tire carrier bolt hole locations on the tailgates of the Jeep. We have included long slots which match the bolt pattern for Rotopax Pack Mounts allowing you bolt-on a huge selection of Rotopax’s patented rotoformed gasoline, diesel, water & storage containers to place them in multiple mounting positions, including double stacking containers for additional fuel, water or storage capacity. You can easily add up to 8 gallons of fuel for extended driving range or add extra drinking water storage for camping/overlanding trips with your friends.
We have also included 50 bolt holes for adding other types of bolt-on accessories including Quick Fist clamps, Cube Lights, Light bars or anything else you can think of. You can easily bolt-on a license plate/tag and add an aftermarket LED license plate/tag light like those offered from ORO (Off Road Only). We have included cut outs to pass wiring through for lights or CB antenna coaxial cables.
This Accessory Mount is not just limited to Jeeps. It can be installed on just about any flat surface. It can be mounted inside the bed of a truck, installed on a pick-up truck tailgate, attached to a roll cage, installed in a UTV, mounted in boats, mounted inside or outside of a cargo trailer, emergency vehicles, first aid stations or bolted to wall. The mounting possibilities are limited only by your imagination.
