Description
The evaporation canister is one of the more exposed and vulnerable components underneath your vehicle. Eventually trail debris and elements found on the obstacle can damage the canister.
The Rock Hard Evaporator Canister Skid Plate is fabricated out of 3/16” thick plate steel which is bent, formed, and hand welded into its highly protective shape. This skid plate weighs at 10lbs, and its seamless design won’t catch onto any further elements or rocks on the trail. Not only does this protect the evaporator canister, but the flared sides of the skid plate are designed to handle impacts that will glide you off the obstacle, rather than getting high-centered. The Rock Hard Evaporator Skid Plate is also powder-coated a textured black finish for protection against corrosion.
The precision design allows you to your existing frame mount provisions for a simple installation. With hand tools and some patience, you can perform the install yourself. And included in the kit are installation instructions for our convenience.
