For 1987-2001 Jeep XJs, 1997-2006 Jeep TJs and LJs, and Jeep MJs. This new kit from RockJock allows our 2-inch Johnny Joints with 1/2-inch thru-bolts to be installed on stock or aftermarket 2WD front beam style housings in place of the standard upper control arm bushings. The kit includes two 1 inch thick flame-cut steel uprights that mount to the tube, with Johnny Joint rod ends installed. This kit has you cut off the top of the stock brackets that are on the axle tube and install the new RockJock piece into the existing bracket bases. You then weld the Currie pieces to the existing bracket bases. This allows for no welding to be done on the tube, resulting in no warpage of the tube. This kit requires cutting and welding equipment for installation!!!
