That's why Rugged Ridge has custom designed this Skid Plate to protect the gas tank on 1987-06 Wranglers. These overbuilt skid plates are a must for those who want that extra bit of protection for their off road adventures. Constructed of durable 3/16 thick powder coated steel with a rust resistant E-Coating, this Skid Plate is designed to take whatever the trail throws at you! Bolt-on installation using existing frame mounting locations. This skid plate replaces the factory skid plate providing you true protection.
Note: Will fit both the 15 and 20 gallon gas tanks
