That’s why we engineered the Rugged Ridge Hitch Skid Plate from an incredibly strong ¼-inch steel plate so it brushes off severe impacts without skipping a beat. The skid plate assembly fits any standard 2” receiver and features a built-in step granting convenient access to truck beds, cargo areas, or roof-mounted racks. Finished with a lightly textured black powder coat, the Hitch Skid Plate looks at home on the pavement and in the backwoods, with a design that functions flawlessly in any terrain.
Installation
Everything needed to attach your Skid Plate will be included and most installations can be done in less than 4 hours.
