It’s no secret that some of the rear suspension components of the JK sit low by design for more suspension travel. However those components could get caught on trail elements that can cause catastrophic damage. 

One of the vulnerable exposed suspension components are the lower control arms. Although they don’t sit as low as other parts, they are still exposed to dangerous elements. TeraFlex has designed their Flexarm Skidplate Kit to reinforce the lower control arm brackets, and these will make the factory brackets much stronger, and fit to handle the abuse.

These are fabricated out of ¼” thick CNC laser cut steel, and are designed to be welded on. So make sure you have a professional welder, or fabrication specialist install these for a proper installation.
