Engineered from heavy-duty 16 gauge steel, this intuitively designed compartment uses your tailgate to create a highly secure space with 20,800 cubic inches of storage. Simple in its design, yet ultra-secure in keeping articles safe, the 4 piece enclosure can have the lid removed when needed (tailgate only access) for taller cargo you may need to move in your Wrangler for weekend projects. This jumbo-sized enclosure works with your rear seat in 4-Door models, and is easily installed with no drilling needed. Adding great security to Jeeps with either a hardtop or even a soft top, once your Jeep's alarm system is activated the power door lock switches disable, so your cargo is safe even with your top folded down. Tuffy security enclosure works in Jeeps with or without the factory subwoofer and still allows all access to your factory storage cubby with or without Tuffy’s (separately available) lockable Cubby Cover.
