If the Tazer is present and connected, the camera can be activated at any time, in any drive mode, and at any speed. Note: Cargo camera input is not a Hi-Definition input like the backup camera, so the video quality will not be as good!  This is a high-quality standard definition (480i) camera.  There is no way to add a high-definition cargo camera input to the radio.

A: Yes. The Tazer Mini changes settings through your vehicle's CAN bus and doesnt permanently alter your factory software. It also includes the ability to "unmarry" to restore factory settings.
