Z Automotive Z-Locker Controller Aftermarket Locker is a Plug-In Adapter for E-Lockers and Air Lockers Proper locker function is imperative to making sure you get power transfer to your each of your four tires when driving off-road. When you are stuck in mud or rock crawling, you want to be able to lock your axles to spin both tires a the rate. This will give you the maximized traction needed to tackle the toughest trails. To operate your locker when needed, you need to use the Z Automotive Z-Locker Controller Aftermarket Locker. It is a simple plugin adapter that uses your factory Jeep Wrangler JL or Jeep Gladiator JT Rubicon harness to connect to your aftermarket E-Lockers or Air Lockers. With the watertight connectors and a potted design along with the automotive-grade internal components, these are made to last in the harsh Jeep undercarriage environment. Retain Factory Locker Switches, Dash Messages, and Warnings On one end of the Z Automotive Z-Locker Controller Aftermarket Locker, the adapter plugs into the 4 pin factory harness which provides the necessary signals to keep the Jeep Wrangler JL or Jeep Gladiator JT Rubicon locker control logic satisfied. At the other end is a 2 pin connector which will output 12 Volts to engage your E-Locker or Air Locker solenoid. You can get all this while retaining the factory locker switches, dash messages, warnings and will even set off the “service locker” message if your aftermarket locker is faulty or gets disconnected. The output connector used is an industry-standard part that will plug into most E-Lockers. You can use our optional Locker extension if you have a different mating connector or need to run the wires longer. This is usually needed for Air Locker installations. You will get a total reach from the factory locker location of over 7 1/2 feet.
