As bar pins can loosen up and cause the shock to become ineffective, the rear upper shock bar pin eliminator kit can help by reducing the need for bar pins. By eliminating the pins, this can help to convert the shock making it a captured shock mount. That way you will no longer need the bar pins.
The kit should be installed at the location of the factory OE bar pin. Included are the brackets (adapter), shock sleeves that are needed and the hardware.
Note: Shock length may change by up to 1 inch.
